In his message to the church, he advised the couple to build their marriage on the word of God, explaining from the scriptures that no marriage can stand the test of time unless the marriage is built on the word of God.
He blamed lack of endurance that are found in most homes, adding that marriage was designed by God to be enjoyed, but because people had gone their way out of the word of God they are suffering.
Also speaking, the chairman of the occasion, Christian Akuma, advised the couple to open up to one another as secrecy may create suspicion which could damage the home, explaining that openness blocks the way of rumour from the third party.
He urged them to ever keep to their first love and ensure that love takes the center stage of their relationship, adding that without love the marriage was bound to fail and that they should live the life of give and take for love is sharing. ###
