In his schooling days he has represented Rivers state in the intermediate category, coming out champion in all his stay in secondary school sports in the event of Tennis and in his university days.
He was called Victor Ledoro based on his coming out champion in all Tennis competitions in University of Jos.

The man Karibi George apart from being a sports personality is a man of much intellect. A role model you can call him, in all ramifications. Karibi George holds BA English 1983 and MA, ORAL literature 1988, from University of Jos. He also holds professional Diplomas of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relation (NIPR) 1998 and Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON), 2007.
Karibi also obtained L.L.B from Rivers State University of Science and Technology (RSUST) 2005 and the Barrister at law (BL) from the Nigerian law school and was called to the Nigerian Bar in May 2007.
He is an editor and press secretary.
He is currently a director in the Rivers state Universal Basic Education Board (RSUBEB), Radio presenter, interactive Master of Ceremonies. He is the authors of the Master of Ceremonies Handbook 2000)
Karibi George is currently the PRO of the Nigerian football supporters club (NFSC), Rivers state chapter, supporter of Dolphins Football Club (Nigeria) and Arsenal Football Club (England), immediate past captain Tennis PH Club 1928. ###
