The Port Harcourt Polo club has elected a new management committee to pilot the club’s affairs for the next one year.
The keenly contested election was said to be the best and fairest in the history of the social recreational club. Other issues bedeviling the club were also put to rest, as members gladly voted the most qualified candidate to fill the operational portfolios
The position of president was warmly given to Ibifiri A. C. Bobmanuel, as members all voted for his favour. Ibiwari Pepple was voted to occupy the vice president office.
The office of Treasurer was gladly given to Chief Onny Igbokwe as members in one accord voted in his favour.
Ukagha Igwe is now the club’s able secretary as he was voted into the office with happiness by all members.
Ifeanyi Ogbechi Barlkitch member, Barr. Tella D. Attoni membership secretary, while Alhaji Tanko A. Ayuba was voted pony welfare. The port folio of financial secretary was given to the able Iyene Amapakabo to run for the period of one year.
Comedy merchant Michael Ogolo is now the club’s social member as Eugene Abels occupies the port folio of House and Grounds in the club as voted by members.
Commander Suleiman Ibrahim is the member security man of the club as was orderly voted by all members of the Port Harcourt polo club. And the new captain of the club is Anthony Isodje.
This executive committee is expected to last for only one year as new election will be conducted at the expiration of the one year term as stipulated by the club constitution. ####
