Following the recent meetings of Pollyn Youths Association (PYA) of Kalaibiama, Bonny, in the Bonny Local Government Area of Rivers State ofNigeria, a Consensus memorandum was reached that the aforesaid youth body should apply for the registration of Pollyn Youths Association (PYA).
Precisely, a particular meeting held in August 14th, 2011 atCable Road,BonnyIsland, the motion was moved and supported by two-third majority of members present in the said meeting on the above subject matter.
Speaking to our reporter in his office at Bonny, the Secretary-General, Comrade Franklyn Ababo Pollyn, stated that PYA had long been overdue for registration from the date of her formation, that application for registration has been sent toAbujaandPort Harcourtoffices for proper registration and documentation of Pollyn Youth Association (PYA).
The secretary confirmed that all requirements to ease the effective registration of the PYA has been concluded and same sent to CAMA office for necessary actions.
In his remarks, Comrade Daniel G. Pollyn, the incumbent mayor of PYA, told this publication that Pollyn Youths Association (PYA) of Kalaibiama Bonny is a non-Governmental Organization (NGO), whose aims/objectives are, to gain legitimacy/development in Kalaibiama Community,BonnyKingdom andNigeria at large.
The PYA mayor assured that the formal registration of the body will enable the youth body to act according to her manifesto in a speedy shape. ###
