Na our nation go pay

Its f our days now

Since, I heard the anthem

Its four days now

Since, I heard many pretending and looking proud

Of their nation.

Today we still do some jamboree parties

Without essence

Just like Christmas, shoeless we run

Errands into kitchen with

Useful hands pounding pepper

Slicing meat but when

The salt was discovered to have

Finished “They say” It’s the nation’s

Responsibility “our nation go pay”

For many years now

We ‘ve had our liberation

Yet we still work under deprivation

Still work in molestation

Deprivation of our mentality

What is it that makes you jobless?

“They say” It’s the nation’s responsibility

Our nation go pay

Out of the scroll in one voice we

Revolted with the rules brought

Now see us arguing like vultures

Too many to one fat rat

Crushed by the night lover’s beetle

What is it that makes you renovate

The drains at your backyard into a

Refuse dump

What is it that makes you turn

The notice board upside down

You say its the nation’s responsibility

“Our nation go pay”

Urinating beside a bank, na the nation go

Still pay?

Be careful, for its not hunter’s twitching

Moustache that throws the monkey into the river

Before we turn our nation into a full time debtor that can no longer mend

The crushing economy

Its important that if we must have

A greaterNigeria, we must act wisely

and act out a trueNigeria, its all start from you.
